Lunch at YMCA

AFL provides direct services to families transitioning at the warming shelters at Salvation Army and YMCA in Portland.

During lunch at the YMCA, Beatrice Executive Director of AFL, was getting feedback from families primarily women. Milolo, Katia, and Nadine expressed their concern about the housing challenges they are facing daily. Also, landlords are not accepting General assistance tenants. The house crisis is very alarming and families are losing hope.
