Our mission:
Empowering immigrants to achieve self-reliance and thrive in their new communities through hoslistic support, education, and opportunity creation.
The State of Maine provides several resources to immigrants coming to settle in the United States. Unfortunately, language barriers, lack of familiarity of the law and legal procedures of the United States-United and limited financial resources are huge barriers for these immigrants. Action for life therefore constituted a strategy to help these news immigrants to access these resources offered by the State of Maine.
Action For Life is a pioneering NGO committed to fostering the seamless integration of immigrants within the vibrant community of Mane. With a steadfast dedication to inclusivity and social cohesion, Action For Life offers a range of vital services tailored to meet the diverse needs of immigrants.
From language classes and cultural orientation workshops to job training programs and legal assistance, the organization strives to empower newcomers with the tools and support necessary to thrive in their new environment.
Through collaborative partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and community leaders, Action For Life promotes cross-cultural understanding and celebrates the rich tapestry of diversity that defines Mane.
